Of the 5 members (alders) on the Truck Route Committee, 2 will be gone by the end of the year, and it could be as many as 4 leaving. No one from DPW is on the committee.
ReplyDeleteOf the 5 members on the Parking Committee, 1 will be leaving, possibly 3. No one from DPW, HPD or the Parking Bureau is on the committee. Should there be any expectation of getting anything worthwhile accomplished from either committee in the next 5 or even 10 years? No, because the system is just not designed for effective results.
