Few Surprises, Fewer Contests

The deadline for filing designating petitions to run for office was Friday. The list of all who filed can be found here. To save readers having to click and scroll, here are the candidates who filed designating petitions in Hudson.

All those filing designating petitions are running as Democrats. The three seeking city-wide offices are incumbents. All those running for county supervisor positions are incumbents. Only five of those seeking seats on the Council are incumbents: Margaret Morris (First Ward), Mohammed Rony and Dewan Sarowar (Second Ward), Vicky Daskaloudi and Dominic Merante (Fifth Ward). In the primary on June 27, Democrats in the First, Second, and Third wards will select two candidates from the three who have filed designating petitions.
