Yesterday, Gossips reported on the restoration of 724 Columbia Street, the building that was originally part of the Gifford Foundry.

Between 1856, when it was constructed, and today, the building has had a lot of different uses. The photograph below, from the PhotobyGibson collection, shows how the building was used in 1958 and explains what happened to the three original windows in the facade.

In 1958, the building was the location of Hudson's Cadillac dealership.
