An article about Hudson, which appeared today in the Albany Business Review, reports on the real estate market in Hudson. The line that inspired me to read it was: "Housing frenzy makes a small Hudson Valley city a hot spot." The article's title is: "The New Hudson: New residents from New York City and elsewhere have made the city a high-end hot spot." [Daniel] Ragone closed on the 3,150-square-foot home on Columbia Street near the hospital two years ago for $325,000. He renovated the property, adding new bathrooms and expanding the primary suite, painted the exterior a trendy shade of green, sourced antique furniture and brought life back to the 1890s structure.
Now he's selling the home for $1.27 million with the option to buy it fully furnished.
