The Register-Star just published the news that incumbent Kamal Johnson and Joe Ferris, his challenger to be the Democratic candidate for mayor, will meet for a debate: "Hudson Democratic mayoral contenders to debate June 16."
The debate will take place at the Hudson High School auditorium from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 16, and will be moderated by Register-Star editor Mary Dempsey.
Ask them each to talk for 3 minutes about the city's 3 most pressing issues and what they plan on doing about them (not what Kamal might have DONE about them). Looking forward only. This is a debate about the future of Hudson, after all.
