Wonder Where the Yellow Went

A DPW worker was observed yesterday morning, spray-painting the curb on the southwest corner of Union and Second streets. Once upon a time, parking was prohibited along this stretch of Union Street, but that hasn't been the case for decades. Still, because a few flecks of yellow paint remained on the curb, people were getting tickets for parking here. The gray paint was applied to cover all traces of yellow and make it perfectly clear that parking here is legal.

  1. It's small things like repainting a curb that make a big difference in illustrating how good management works in a city. Congratulations should go the DPW for staying on top of things and making Hudson a better place in which to live and do business.
