Joe Gallo, spokesman for the North Bay Tin Boat Association (a.k.a. the Furgary Boat Club), uses a little known bit of information about John F. Kennedy to argue the right of the Furgary cabins to survive in a letter to the editor in today's Register-Star: "Historical parallel?"

    On Saturday, June 30th, the North Dock Tin Boat Association is holding an "open house" between 1:00 and 4:00 PM.

    I look forward to greeting any and all Gossips readers.

    Please don't be put off by the "No Trespassing" signs which the city recently erected to protect itself from lawsuits.
