Tom Casey reports in today's Register-Star that the Hudson Industrial Development Agency has reached a settlement with Tony Concra for the PILOT payments he owes on 25 Railroad Avenue: "City IDA, Concra agree to $82K settlement." According to the terms of the settlement, Concra will pay the City of Hudson $82,500, although he allegedly owes the City more than $100,000, and is now free to sell the building to Columbia County. Toward the end of the article, there is an update on HIDA's situation vis a vis the NYS Authorities Budget Office.
Gossips Note: I just returned from a meeting of the county IDA (which didn't happen because there wasn't a quorum), where I learned that there is nothing unique about the email the Hudson IDA received from the ABO. It seems the same email, requesting a reevaluation of the mission statement, went to every IDA in the state.
