Signs of Spring

William and I took a nice walk in the sunshine this morning, searching for signs of spring, and we were rewarded by sprouting bulbs, budding lilacs, hellebores, daffodils in bud, and crocuses. After a brutal winter that lingered too long, it seems that spring is finally here.
