Thoughts on a Fine Spring Day

While traveling the back roads of Columbia County recently, en route to Williamstown, Steve Dunn snapped this picture in Canaan.

He sent the picture to me along with this statement and permission to share both on Gossips: 

I have said it before, and I will say it again, but we live in the most beautiful place on earth, and I have visited a lot of places. I feel just so lucky to have the privilege to live here. It's like I was dealt a royal flush.

To that I will add another quote that seems appropriate for today, one that may be familiar to some: "The winter is past, the rain is over and gone, and the flowers appear on the earth." Enjoy the day!
