It seems so odd that Craig wasn't involved in this thing from the start. If he were, presumably this law would have passed. Craig and his CEO office are busy, understaffed, and have little money to spare -- can he really deal with this added responsibility?
Agreed. Too many responsibilities spooned off to Code Enforcement. Historic Preservation, especially, has passed off an enormous number of duties -- not in code section 169 -- to Code Enforcement, shirking its duties.
