Among the Chefs of Hudson

Hudson has and has had its share of notable chefs practicing their art in Hudson--John McCarthy, Zak Pelaccio, Jeff Gimmel, John DeLucie, to name a few. One whose cuisine in Hudson you may not have sampled is Stephen Henderson, the gourmet chef and culinary journalist who, every Monday, volunteers his time in the kitchen at the Salvation Army on South Third Street. On Saturday, there was an article about him in the Times Union: "Volunteer 'gastrophilanthropist' spices up Hudson Salvation Army."
