The number of active cases being reported today is 22 more than yesterday, from which it can be inferred that, since yesterday, 3 county residents have recovered from the virus. The number of county residents in mandatory quarantine today is the same as it was yesterday, but there is 1 fewer hospitalized. Of those hospitalized, 1 is in the ICU. There has not been a death from COVID-19 in Columbia County since Monday, December 13.
The New York Forward dashboard is reporting a positivity rate for Columbia County yesterday of 17.6 percent and a seven-day average of 9.1 percent. By comparison, the daily positivity rate for the Capital Region was 9.5 percent and the seven-day average was 6.4 percent.
