Vandalism at the Waterfront

Among all the good moments of the past weekend in Hudson, there was one very disturbing occurrence. Sometime in the middle of the night between Friday and Saturday, these universally recognized symbols of organized hate were spray-painted on Basilica Hudson.

    Any word on how the police -local or state or sheriff's office -are following up on this latest disgrace? It is hard to imagine why anyone would spray such racist graffiti at all, let alone on one of Hudson's more successful and popular destination points.

    I've lived in Los Angeles for 20 years, a city plagued by graffiti. THey have learned that the best deterrent is to remove the graffiti as soon as possible to the taggers message is lost.

    Get this offensive stuff removed asap.
