On his blog Word on the Street, Scott Baldinger comments on the exemplary restoration happening at 448 Warren Street, the Romanesque church building, constructed in 1869, that was originally the Universalist Church: "Most Things Don't Happen, This One Looks Like It Will."
Baldinger expresses the hope we all share: that the principal steeple, missing for decades, might be rebuilt, and the church could appear once again as it did in the beginning.
I believe that is the steeple that was raining down bricks on the building next door when it went unattended by the previous owner,
ReplyDeleteThe steeple has been gone for decades. The tower that supported the steeple was, as you say, "raining down bricks" in recent memory.
DeleteDoes anyone know what the end use will be for church?
