Historic Detail Hunt 2015: All Is Revealed
What if you threw a party and nobody came? That's a bit how Gossips feels about this year's Historic Detail Hunt. Thank goodness for Mary Elizabeth and Curt Vincent, the big winners from last year who identified all the details correctly again this year and submitted their list just seventy-four minutes after the last detail was published! The Vincents report that they logged an average of four miles a day walking around Hudson during the month of May, looking for details, and are now in terrific shape. That's a good thing, because they're getting all the goodies: a $50 gift certificate to the Red Dot and $25 gift certificates to Olde Hudson, Fairview Wines & Spirits, and Trixie's Oven.

What a catalogue that is! Are there any details left for next year?
ReplyDeleteOh, but many of us were lurking! I for one had my head up and eyes open much more during May as I looked for details. They were challenging (and that's ok!) and I didn't feel I had enough identified to submit an entry. I'm glad you commemorate historical preservation month; it's a great way to enjoy the architectural richness of Hudson and the springtime weather. Thank you!
