What's Happening This Week

The first full week in November begins with a day free of meetings, but this is the only one.
  • Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 5, is Election Day. The polls are open from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. In Hudson, Wards 1, 2, and 3 vote at St. Mary's Academy, at the corner of Third and Allen streets, Ward 4 votes at 401 State Street, and Ward 5 votes at the Central Fire Station, 77 North Seventh Street.   • Also on Tuesday, November 5, the Conservation Advisory Council meets at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall. No agenda is available for this meeting, but chances are trees will be a topic of discussion.
  • On Wednesday, November 6, the Common Council Youth, Education, Seniors, and Recreation Committee meets at 5:30 p.m. and the Housing and Transportation Committee meets at 6:45 p.m. Both meetings take place in City Hall.
  • On Thursday, November 7, at 6:00 p.m., there is a special meeting of the Common Council to receive and consider the budget for 2020. The meeting will take place at City Hall.
  • On Friday, November 8, the Historic Preservation Commission holds its first meeting for the month at 10 a.m. in City Hall.
