Tonight's public hearing on the proposed law to regulate short term rentals has already been mentioned in Gossips' lineup of meetings of the week, but here is some additional information. The public hearing begins at 5:00 p.m., and the following ground rules have been established, presumably by Common Council president Tom DePietro:
This public hearing will limit all speakers to two minutes, and they may only speak once. We're here to hear your comments, not answer questions. If you do not follow the rules regarding time, you will be muted. If you speak out of order or a second time, you will be removed from the zoom.
