COVID-19 Update

The Columbia County Department of Health has released its numbers for today. Since yesterday, there have been four new cases of COVID-19, but there have also been twelve recoveries, so the number of active cases is eight less today than it was yesterday. One more person is hospitalized with the virus today than yesterday, but no one is in the ICU. Four more county residents are in mandatory quarantine, but the number in precautionary quarantine remains the same. It has now been 123 days since there has been a death from COVID-19 in Columbia County.
  
With four positives out of 397 test results received, the positive percentage rate for today is 1 percent. The seven day rolling average, according to Gossips' calculations, is 0.6 percent--that is, 13 positives out of 2,109 test results received.
