One of Hudson's favorite community events, the Oakland Plunge is happening this Saturday, March 5.
Last year, the plunge raised $35,000 for the Hudson Youth Department Waterfront Program and the Hudson Fire Department Water Rescue and Dive Team. This year, the goal is $40,000. To make a donation in support of the plunging team of your choice, click here.
Spectators this year will once again be able to watch the festivities in person on the beach, and the weather promises to be near 40 degrees. If you're not ready for such gatherings or would just rather be elsewhere at midday on Saturday, the Oakdale Plunge can be viewed, as it happens, on YouTube. Click here to connect.
