Tomorrow is Hudson's Flag Day celebration. (Actual Flag Day is Tuesday, June 14.) The parade begins at 4:oo p.m. The orgy of fireworks begins after it gets dark, which will probably won't happen until well after 9:00 p.m. Between the parade and the fireworks, you can hang out in riverfront park eating carnival food, or you can enjoy some live music at the Park Theater, 723 Warren Street. The show, featuring Jules Olson and Lara Hope & the Ark-tones, begins at 7:00 p.m.
Who makes the decisions for the parade? Specifically, the fireworks. Are the residents of Hudson demanding fireworks well after the parade is done? Do we have fireworks because "that's the way it's always been done?" Enough already!
ReplyDeleteThe kids liked it, it was a remarkable display this year.
