- At 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, the Planning Board holds its monthly meeting. An agenda for the meeting is not yet available, but it is likely to include the subdivision project proposed for Hudson Avenue and the plans for the new location of Lil' Deb's Oasis. The meeting may also reveal a new member of the Planning Board, to replace Dustin Duncan, who according to reports has resigned from the board. - On Saturday, July 15, Hudson's fourth craft brewery, Union Street Brewing Company, located at 716 Union Street, opens its doors at noon. More information about the brewery and its offerings, which include New York State wines and the food from the brewery's kitchen, can be found here.
- Also on Saturday, July 15, the Hudson Festival Orchestra presents Hudson in Concert: A Second Annual Celebration of Our Community. The free event begins at 5:00 p.m., with opening acts in the gazebo at Henry Hudson Riverfront Park. The performance by the orchestra begins at 7:00 p.m. under a tent.
