It's April Fool's Day, and mercifully there are no city meetings today. That's not true for the rest of the week though. Be advised that city meetings, with the exception of the IDA, will henceforward take place once again in City Hall, 520 Warren Street.

- On Wednesday, April 3, the Hudson Industrial Development Agency (IDA) meets at 10:30 a.m. The time of this meeting is different from in the past, but the location of the in-person meeting is the same: One City Centre, Suite 301. - At 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, the Common Council Legal Committee holds its monthly meeting. No agenda for the meeting is as yet available, but topics of discussion may be the proposal to raise the lodging tax in Hudson from 4 percent to 5 percent and amendments to the city's ban on formula businesses (Article XIV Community Character Preservation). - At 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, the Common Council ad hoc Truck Route Committee holds its monthly meeting. No agenda for the meeting is available, but it's likely there will be an update on plans to enforce the limitation on trucks traveling on Route 9G into Hudson.
