The Vengeance of Cheddie

The Register-Star reports today that First Ward Alderman Geeta Cheddie has upped the ante in her protest about wannabe First Warder Tim Rodgers and his attempt to become a commissioner of deeds: "Cheddie: Not Rodgers' neighborhood." It seems that Cheddie has now filed a complaint with the Hudson Police Department against Timothy Rodgers and Victor Mendolia for filing false information with the City Clerk’s Office. Rodgers' application, which reportedly was notarized by Mendolia, listed Rodgers' home address as 15 Allen Street. At the time the application was made, Rodgers had a verbal agreement with the owner to rent an apartment in the building and the expectation of living there, but the agreement subsequently fell through. Cheddie is alleging that Rodgers and Mendolia knowingly filed false information.
