Landmarks Commission Has a Change of Heart

On Tuesday, Gossips reported that the Landmarks Preservation Commission in New York City was proposing removing ninety-four sites from consideration. Yesterday, the New York Times reported that the commission, in response to "opposition from local politicians and advocacy groups," has withdrawn that proposal: "Landmarks Panel Drops Proposal to Trim List."
