In July, Gossips reported that the legislation allowing dogs to accompany their humans in the outdoor areas of restaurants, cafes, and bars was awaiting Governor Andrew Cuomo's signature. The bill had passed unanimously in the New York State Senate in May; the Assembly version of the bill, co-sponsored by our own assemblymember Didi Barrett, passed by an overwhelming 97 to 5 in June. Last night, Gossips received word that the legislation had just been delivered to the governor.
