Tom DePietro, candidate for Common Council president, who said disparaging things about pepperoni in red sauce in a radio interview on WGXC, announced publicly today that he will eat a pepperoni sandwich at the Polka Hop next Sunday. The event takes place from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Federation of Polish Sportsmen Club on Newman Road and is presented by DePietro and mayoral candidate Tiffany Martin Hamilton.
