At the very same time, Hudson FORWARD is having its monthly community meeting at the Chamber of Commerce, 1 North Front Street, at the western end of Warren Street. The meeting, which is open to all, features guest speaker Heather Campbell, Hudson treasurer, who will discuss the City's finances.
Hudson FORWARD defines its priorities for 2016 as:
- Increase understanding of and participation in local government
- Increase access to learning resources
- Beautify parks and shared spaces
- Build relationships across Hudson's communities
Wow. At a time when the community and the schools need better bridges and relationships, this would have been a perfect opportunity for collaboration.
ReplyDeleteThank you Carole for helping to get the word out.
ReplyDeleteTo Peter's comment - Hudson FORWARD normally meets every 3rd Thursday, but given holidays and availability of space, our options this month were more limited. Please don't read any more into it than that, as Access to Learning is a big focus for us and collaboration is constant.
