It was a week ago today that the Local Planning Committee was supposed to adopt the list of projects to be included in Hudson's draft DRI Investment Plan, but, for reasons we've already explained, that didn't happen. No vote was taken at the meeting, where the public and the press were present to learn the results. Instead it was decided that the members of the LPC would vote yes or no in what was effectively a secret ballot--so secret, in fact, that a week later we still don't know the outcome of the vote. Did the LPC adopt the list of projects recommended by the Project Development Subcommittee, or didn't it? If it didn't, has the list been altered to eliminate problematic projects? So far, there has been no word.
