Tonight, at 6 p.m., the Planning Board will hold public hearings on two proposals: to construct the Nack Education Center on land owned by the City of Hudson adjacent to Henry Hudson Riverfront Park; and to amend the site plan review for Backbar to allow its outdoor dining area to be used after 10 p.m.
Tomorrow, at 10 a.m., the Historic Preservation Commission will hold a public hearing on the proposal to demolish a garage on Deer Alley, behind 241 Allen Street, and construct on its footprint a building that will be 50 percent taller than the existing building.
All three public hearings--the two tonight and the one tomorrow morning--will take place in the Council Chamber at City Hall.

It bears repeating that the Sloop Club is requesting the use of 48% of waterfront park in its request for $1.2 million from the DRI, or 12.47% of the pot.
ReplyDeleteIn its application to the Planning Board, the Club has omitted any reference to the size of the area of the park it hopes to occupy. Why?
