School and Community

The insurance agency SDL+GHS announced yesterday the creation of a scholarship for 2018 graduates of Hudson High School. The SDL+GHS Scholarship for Health Sciences provides assistance to outstanding students preparing for careers in the health care workforce. In announcing the scholarship, SDL+GHS said: "Every day we see firsthand how layered and nuanced the health care industry is, but also how essential every position is within that stratum. So whether you want to be a nurse, a pharmacist, policy maker, or public health professional, we want to help you realize that goal."

One scholarship will be awarded each year. The deadline for applying is just two weeks away, on April 12. Click here for more information about the scholarship and to complete an application.
