Another Collision at Third and Union

Last Friday, a tractor-trailer truck ran a red light and totaled a car at the intersection of Third and Union streets. Today, there was another accident at that corner--this time involving a passenger vehicle and a police car. There were no reports of injuries, but both vehicles had to be towed away.

Peter Meyer, who provided Gossips with the photograph, used the incident to make a point: "We simply can't have our Youth Center on this busy street in the middle of the business district."
