  1. I'm sorry to repeat myself, but if we haven't learned anything in the last year, it is that the public needs information. And we're not getting from our Department of Health. And, I'm sorry, Carole, but a one-day infection rate of zero, following a one-day infection rate of over 3 percent just a few days ago tells the public nothing about Covid in Columbia County. Ten cases in a day!!! (https://www.hudsonvalley360.com/news/columbiacounty/10-new-covid-cases-linked-to-fruit-farm/article_1556726c-f701-556e-9b14-3d3762c24eb8.html) At a fruit farm? Which one? Did any of the workers leave the farm? Did they go shopping at Shoprite? And according to today Register Star (https://www.hudsonvalley360.com/news/columbiacounty/11-new-covid-cases-linked-to-fruit-farm/article_4193d557-66bc-55d5-b51d-b6556008a910.html) the case reported Saturday worked on the same farm, bringing the total to 11 of the farm workers and these workers did NOT live on the farm.
