- On Thursday, May 9, at 6:00 p.m., Susan Stessin-Cohn speaks about her more than twenty years of research into the history of slavery in the Hudson Valley and the second edition of her book In Defiance: Runaways from Slavery in New York's Hudson River Valley, 1735-1831.
