Speaking of Hotels . . .
Yesterday, Gossips reported on plans, proposed six or seven years ago, for two hotels. One never happened; the other hasn't happened yet. As luck would have it, Gossips learned today of new plan for a boutique hotel in Hudson. An item was added this afternoon to the agenda for next Wednesday's Planning Commission meeting: "Initial review of proposed new hotel project at 542 Warren St." How's that for coincidence?
Hudson does have a boutique hotel. Union St. Guest House. Great lounge/bar, fitness center & suites.
ReplyDeleteIsn't this more of a revived hotel plan than a new one? The building was slated to become a hotel several years ago, but there was some sort of split among the investors and the plan got shelved. Unless it has sold to some new investors, I believe the current owner was part of that prior group.
