Parking Takes a Holiday

The Register-Star has the news this morning that Mayor William Hallenbeck is suspending overnight alternate side of the street parking from May 1 through September 30: "Alternate-side parking dropped for summer." The suspension is only for two weekend nights: Friday to Saturday and Saturday to Sunday. On Sunday night cars will need to be parked on the proper side--even if Monday's date is even, odd if Monday's date is odd--or risk being ticketed.
