There's an article in today's New York Times by Amy Thomas that makes me glad to be here now and thrilled to have been among those who witnessed what she calls the city's "remarkable and elegant transformation": "Hudson, N.Y.: An Elegant Transformation." COPYRIGHT 2016 CAROLE OSTERINK
Does the author mention the transformation of the North Bay if the City's sewer separation proposal goes through?
Friday is the final day for Public Comments on the proposal's federal environmental review (posted on the City's homepage).
Polling always shows that ecology is among the least of concerns for Americans, but a Public Comment Period on the subject as it applies to Hudson is a terrible thing to waste.
It's a shame that practically no one in Hudson is aware of this opportunity, or even knows what's at stake. Just a shame.
