Tonight at City Hall

At 6:30 tonight, there is an obligatory public hearing about the City's 2016 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application. It has already been revealed that the City will be seeking the maximum $400,000: $250,000 of which would be used for stabilizing and reconditioning the Youth Center and the rest for zoning revisions and updating the City's fourteen-year-old Comprehensive Plan.

At 7:00, the Common Council holds its informal meeting. The Fair & Equal initiative petition will be presented to the aldermen tonight for discussion. That should make for an interesting session.
