Vending Machine Update

As I did last Monday morning, I made a trip to the glowing blue vending machine early today to buy a blue bag in which to set out my garbage. I am happy to report that the slot for ATM and credit cards has now been uncovered and appears to be working. I didn't try it, though. Instead I inserted two $1 bills and watched with relief as the blue bag dropped and then heard my change--two quarters--fall. Success! My trash is now at the curb, awaiting the arrival of the garbage truck.

    I'm hoping that the legendary Russian hackers do their nefarious deeds on that thing and render it inert.
