Where to Be on September 1

It's always sad to think of summer coming to an end, but there's a not-to-be-missed event on the waterfront to kick off Labor Day weekend and make the unofficial end of summer more bearable.

On Friday, September 1, Historic Hudson invites you to party at the Dunn warehouse--one of the rare surviving industrial buildings on Hudson's waterfront. The event takes place from 4 to 7 p.m.--cocktail hour. Enjoy a selection of Central European wines from Hudson Wine Merchants, paired with delicious late summer food from Talbott & Arding Cheese and Provisions, while experiencing the remarkable riverfront setting and imagining a future for this historic building.

The Dunn warehouse is located at the intersection of Broad and Water streets, just across from Henry Hudson Riverfront Park. Space is limited, so you are advised to secure your tickets now at historichudson.org. The price is $35 in advance, $40 at the gate.

The event benefits Historic Hudson and enables the organization to continue its advocacy for Hudson's unique architectural and cultural past--and its vibrant future.
