Hudson in the New York Times

It's no longer worthy of note when Hudson gets mentioned in the New York Times as a destination for a weekend getaway, but this is something much bigger and better. Today, NYT published its list of "Best Classical Music Performances of 2017," and among them is The Mother of Us All!

Bravo to R. B. Schlather and to everyone who was involved in this magnificent production!

Gossips will not be the first to note the irony that, after the name "Hudson Opera House" was discarded in favor of the rather bland "Hudson Hall," it was opera that brought this cultural institution its greatest recognition and acclaim.
