In Defense of Dreamers

Five protesters, part of the Columbia County Sanctuary Movement, were arrested this evening for refusing to leave Congressman John Faso's office in Kinderhook, where they were staging a sit-in to demand that Faso sign on as a co-sponsor of the Clean DREAM Act. The Register-Star has a video of what happened: "Protesters arrested for refusing to leave Faso's office."  The image below, showing Bryan MacCormack, executive director of CCSM, being carried from the building, is a screen capture from that video.
