On Tuesday night, the same night the Common Council passed a resolution opposing the construction of a dog park in Charles Williams Park, the Council voted unanimously to enact an amendment to Section 70-4 of the city code "to permit dogs to be present at the Riverfront Park."

Thinking outside the box, why not use the fenced area around the Dunn Warehouse for now as a dog park?
ReplyDeleteI've made this suggestion more than once to city officials, but for whatever reason it was never pursued. I think it would be a wonderful way to introduce Hudson to the idea of a dog park and help naysayers see that a dog park would not be the horror show they imagine.
