A group called Global Partners LP is proposing to build a "bistro style" cafe and market with sixteen "fueling dispensers" and a diesel fuel island for large trucks at the intersection of Routes 9 and 9H.
The proposed site, which is now vacant land, is diagonally across the intersection from an already existing multiple-pump gas station and market. That facility will be vacated when the new facility is built, and it's not known what will become of it.
Yesterday, the Livingston Planning Board had a public hearing on the proposal. Dan Udell was there to document it, and his video can be viewed here.
