You Can't Always Get What You Want

The day after the scuffle in the Galvan Armory involving Common Council president Tom DePietro and former Third Ward alderman John Friedman, DePietro was quoted in the Register-Star as saying, "The less said about this unfortunate incident, the better for everyone." It didn't work out that way.

This afternoon, Amanda Purcell reported on HudsonValley360 that, after an investigation by the Columbia County Sheriff's Office, DePietro has been formally arraigned on the charge of harassment: "Common Council President charged with harassment."
