Family Tradition

Tomorrow, Friday, September 6, 225 Warren Bar & Grill will open its doors for the first time at 11:00 a.m.

Although 225 Warren Bar & Grill will start serving at 11 a.m., the ribbon cutting ceremony will take place later in the afternoon--appropriately, at 2:25 p.m.

The new restaurant is the third to occupy this space in the past quarter century. First, there was Paramount Grill, then DA|BA, and now 225 Warren Bar & Grill. But the new restaurant is part of an even longer tradition in Hudson. Anthony Marchionne, who with his sister, Stephanie, is the proprietor of the new restaurant, is the fourth generation of Marchionnes to hold a liquor license in Hudson. First there was his great grandfather, Dominic, Sr.; then his grandfather, Dominic, Jr., and his father, Mark, who owned Moxie's, at the corner of Front and Union streets, now the location of Wm. Farmer & Sons. You can go to the new restaurant's Facebook page to check out the menu.
