Overnight Parking Assurances

Since Gossips has gotten a few inquiries about overnight alternate side of the street parking, a little review may be in order.

Labor Day is one of the eight holidays on the eve of which alternate side of the street parking is suspended. So tonight, cars can safely be parked on either side of the street. For future reference, here are rest of the holidays, going forward from here:

• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day
• New Year's Day
• Presidents' Day
• Martin Luther King Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day

The summer suspension of overnight alternate side of the street parking continues through the month of September. Saturday to Sunday, September 28 to 29, is the last weekend day this year when you can park overnight on either side of the street.
