The number of active cases being reported today is 95 more than yesterday, from which it can be inferred that, since yesterday, 77 county residents have recovered from the virus. There are 38 more county residents in mandatory quarantine today than yesterday, but there are 2 fewer hospitalized. Of those hospitalized, 1 more is in the ICU. There has not been a death from COVID-19 in Columbia County since Tuesday.
New York Forward dashboard is reporting a positivity rate for Columbia County yesterday, when there were 106 new cases, of 25.2 percent and a seven-day average of 18.2 percent. By comparison, the daily positivity rate for the Capital Region yesterday was 19.9 percent and the seven-day average was 18.0 percent.
