Meetings of Interest in the Week Ahead

When it comes to meetings, the year begins in earnest this week, with something to Zoom in on every day but Thursday.
  • On Monday, January 10, the Common Council holds its organizational meeting at 7:00 p.m., followed by the informal meeting for the month. At the organizational meeting it is expected the majority and minority leaders for the next two years will be announced. On the agenda for the informal meeting is a resolution reappointing to the Conservation Advisory Council the four people whose terms have expired: David Konigsberg, Hilary Hillman, Tom O'Dowd, and Michael O'Hara. • On Tuesday, January 11, the Planning Board meets at 6:00 p.m. No agenda for the meeting is available, but there will be the continuation of the public hearing on the proposal to convert 26 Warren Street, now used as a bed and breakfast, into a hotel. The meeting will also be an opportunity to learn who has been appointed to fill the two vacancies left by Stephen Steim and Laura Margolis. Click here to join the Zoom meeting.
  • On Wednesday, January 12, the Hudson Housing Authority Board of Commissioners meets at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will take place on Zoom, but the link to the meeting has not yet been published.
