The number of active cases being reported today is 48 fewer than on Friday, from which it can be inferred that, since Friday, 124 county residents have recovered from the virus. There are 2 more county residents hospitalized today than on Friday, but the number in the ICU remains the same. There has not been a death from COVID-19 in Columbia County since Friday, January 27.
The New York Forward dashboard is reporting a positivity rate for Columbia County yesterday of 5.7 percent and a seven-day average of 12.0 percent. By comparison, the positivity rate for the Capital Region for the same period was 6.9 percent and the seven-day average was 9.8 percent.
